Electronics Quality Assurance Inspector

Data Electronic Devices is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to enhance our team. The primary responsibility of the QC Inspector is to conduct thorough visual, electrical, and dimensional assessments of printed circuit board assemblies. A critical aspect of this role involves interpreting values for surface mount technology (SMT) components, utilizing a microscope for inspecting small components, specifically those sized 0402.

Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to gather essential information, including material specifications, electrical and cosmetic standards, and workmanship guidelines.
- Conduct inspections on electrical or electronic components using precision electrical meters.
- Utilize advanced measuring tools such as smart tweezers, calipers, and pin gauges to ensure compliance with electrical and dimensional standards during first article inspections, in-process evaluations, and production runs.
- Input and analyze data within the Statistical Process Control (SPC) database.
- Perform and document results of first article inspections for boards post-SMT.
- Ensure the completeness of documentation as required by internal procedures.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of relevant inspection experience in the electronics manufacturing sector.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, specifications, and PCB Gerbers.
- Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors.
- Experience operating Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment is preferred.
- Expertise in interpreting component values through part inspections.
- Familiarity with various software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.
