Job Overview

This position is a 5-6 month assignment focused on quality assurance within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of electronic systems, electromechanical assemblies, and mechanical components. The role involves:

  • Performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections based on established quality standards.
  • Accepting or rejecting products according to defined inspection protocols and personal expertise.
  • Collaborating with production teams, project management, shipping/receiving, and quality assurance departments.
Essential Duties:

The inspector will:

  • Independently execute all required tests, inspections, and measurements as per predefined guidelines.
  • Assess incoming raw materials, first article parts, in-process items, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with Purchase Order Instructions, Design Drawings, Quality Control Plans, and safety regulations.
  • Undertake additional quality-related tasks as directed by supervisors.
Required Qualifications:

Candidates should possess:

  • 3-6 years of experience in a Quality Control capacity.
  • Proficiency in Quality Control/Assurance methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and specifications according to ASME standards.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multi-meters.
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 21 requirements and ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Capability to conduct first article inspections per AS9102.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Educational Background:

A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position on the 2nd shift, operating from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM PST.
