Job Description

STERNO - A Sterno Group Company is seeking a highly skilled National Account Sales Specialist to join our National Accounts Team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing B2B relationships with select National Distributors, Chains, and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. They will also be highly detailed, analytical, and self-motivated, with a passion for providing best-in-class service and support.

The National Account Sales Specialist will work closely with the Sales Management team to generate and manage key customer-related functions, including sales proposals, customer contracts, pricing changes, national sales campaigns, and forecasting. They will also be responsible for managing GPO sales reporting, including sales analysis, cost analysis, sales promotion tracking, marketing fund accruals, and general reporting.

Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as a liaison between customer and Sterno Marketing functions, administering all program brand specifications and customization of applicable marketing materials. They will also be responsible for the management and administration of GPO electronic systems, portals, catalogs, and databases required for key business functions such as PO & Invoice status, scorecards, item setup, sales, and promotional activity.

The National Account Sales Specialist will provide administrative support for the National Accounts Team, including general administrative duties, drafting letters and communication, constructing PowerPoint presentations, and establishing and maintaining a filing and archiving system. They will also represent the National Accounts Team in meetings and within cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3-5 years' experience supporting B2B sales, and excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and accountability-driven, with a strong ability to work independently and with little direction.
