About the Department:

The Department of Biology is composed of a dedicated team of faculty focused on delivering high-quality undergraduate and graduate education. About the Position:

The role of Professor of Ecology is a term faculty position aimed at attracting a passionate and innovative educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both introductory and advanced ecology courses, as well as coordinating the multi-section ecology curriculum for Biology majors.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering undergraduate courses and laboratory sessions, along with providing academic advising.

Required Qualifications:

  • A PhD in a relevant field completed by the specified date;
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels;
  • Proven teaching effectiveness;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and graduate students.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong record of teaching success;
  • Experience in a higher education environment;
  • Skills in coordinating graduate teaching assistants.
