About the Position

The Professor of Ecology will be responsible for teaching introductory and upper-level ecology courses and coordinating the multi-section ecology course for Biology majors. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced educator to make a meaningful contribution to our academic community.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching undergraduate level courses and laboratories and some undergraduate academic advising.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a PhD in a relevant discipline by July 15, 2024;
  • Share the department's commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate instruction;
  • Demonstrate excellence in teaching; and
  • Have the ability to collaborate with faculty and graduate students.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A proven record of teaching excellence;
  • Experience in a University setting; and
  • Experience coordinating Graduate teaching assistants.
