Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in advancing the organization's recruitment objectives by formulating effective talent acquisition strategies, cultivating robust candidate pipelines, and developing resources throughout the organization to fulfill both immediate and long-term hiring requirements.
The Head of Talent Acquisition will engage proactively with leadership to pinpoint talent shortages and will spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan to address these challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the recruitment team within the support center, ensuring optimal performance, sourcing candidates, and driving recruitment initiatives. Fill the candidate pipeline with qualified individuals, establish a network of partnerships, and promote the Benedictine ethos to potential hires. Engage with bench candidates and lead creative initiatives for candidate generation to ensure a diverse talent pool is available to meet organizational demands. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to guarantee efficient time-to-fill and quality of hire metrics.
Core Duties:
Direct sourcing strategies to meet current and future hiring objectives aligned with organizational performance targets.
Foster and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates by developing a strong talent pipeline for present and future hiring needs. Collaborate across the organization to enhance applicant flow and hiring outcomes.
Collaborate with functional leaders, managers, HR representatives, and the Talent Acquisition Manager on recruitment strategies while coaching hiring teams on best practices.
Lead the Talent Acquisition Department for the Support Center and oversee the Internal Float Pool function.
Required Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in recruitment within an agency or corporate environment.
At least five (5) years of experience in a managerial role overseeing teams.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates and organizational stakeholders.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a healthcare environment.
Exceptional public speaking and curriculum delivery skills.
Extensive knowledge of utilizing job boards and applicant tracking systems effectively.
