Location DescriptionOur corporate headquarters is located in Hopkins, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. This location offers a unique blend of natural surroundings and easy access to major travel ways and local amenities.
ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring processes within the Michael Foods organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing end-to-end talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals
- Leading talent acquisition-related diversity initiatives
- Developing and maintaining the organization's external presence
- Overseeing the onboarding process and ensuring a positive new hire experience
- Managing staffing vendor relationships and performance expectations
- Managing campus recruitment activities and the company internship program
- Providing technology leadership for applicant tracking systems and social recruiting platforms
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, with demonstrated success in Talent Acquisition
- 3+ years of supervising a Talent Acquisition team
- Experience as a recruiter filling technical and executive level positions
- Experience managing contract recruiters, staffing agencies, retained and contingent search firms
- Experience with advanced sourcing and pipelining strategies
- Experience managing applicant tracking systems and related recruiting technologies
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decisions and measure success.
