GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:


ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a dedicated part-time Event Production Technician.

This role involves supporting the Operations team with production tasks related to events, ensuring that all production requirements are fulfilled for the venue, clients, and attendees.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist during Work Calls for venue requisition conversions.
• Participate in Load-In, Show, and Load-Out Calls for the setup and breakdown of event productions.
• Handle loading and unloading of transportation vehicles.
• Assemble production equipment on stage.
• Construct set pieces, risers, and musical equipment.
• Operate spotlight during performances for qualified personnel.
• Assist with video, sound, and lighting production before, during, and after events for qualified personnel.
• Move furniture, road cases, and miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all equipment related to both venue and events.
• Be punctual for all assigned calls and work until completion.
• Stand ready to assist the Production and Operations departments to meet evolving venue needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
No supervisory responsibilities are assigned to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to operate industry-related equipment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of industry terminology and proficiency in operating sound, lighting, audio-visual, and other related equipment is advantageous.

• Capability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while exercising judgment and initiative.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in live event production is preferred.
• Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understand and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Detail-oriented.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Windows and MS Office applications.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Possess any licenses, certificates, or training required by local, state, or national authorities for job-related duties.

• Walk/stand extensively, kneel, climb to high walkways, balance, and maneuver throughout various areas and surfaces of the venue.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or occasionally more with assistance.
• Work inside and outside the building is required, with potential exposure to adverse conditions.
• Must be able to hear and speak to use a two-way radio.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
