Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing energy-efficient solutions in residential settings. This role involves direct interaction with customers to install various energy-saving products aimed at reducing electricity usage. The technician will also assess homes for eligibility for additional complimentary services based on energy performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install energy-efficient products such as LED lighting, low-flow water fixtures, and insulation materials in residential properties.
2. Educate homeowners on strategies to decrease energy consumption and save on utility bills.
3. Maintain accurate records of installations and report findings to the Field Supervisor.
4. Identify and document safety concerns to management.
5. Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to job sites.
6. Engage in community outreach events to promote energy efficiency initiatives.
7. Travel approximately 50% of the time throughout the region, with a company vehicle provided for travel.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, customer service, construction, HVAC, or related fields is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel overnight as required.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ethics and responsibility.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Bilingual candidates, particularly those who speak Spanish, are preferred but not mandatory.
