As a vital member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining various equipment and machinery, including presses, mills, downstackers, and uncoilers.
  • Overseeing the configuration of roll forming lines, which involves mill gapping, adjusting guides, and calibrating press and feeder speeds.
  • Interpreting part prints and making necessary adjustments to equipment.
  • Identifying and assessing damaged or worn components.
  • Providing insightful recommendations for improvements to the Engineering team.
  • Operating essential machinery such as uncoilers, steel straighteners, feeders, lubrication systems, presses, conveyors, and mills.
  • Making precise adjustments to ensure compliance with profile specifications.
  • Assisting in product changeovers to maintain production efficiency.
  • Understanding the principles of roll forming and roll tooling.
  • Disassembling and reassembling roll stands while aligning roll tooling accurately.
  • Conducting mechanical repairs and supporting maintenance efforts as needed.
  • Utilizing hand and power tools, cranes, and other material handling equipment effectively.
  • Adhering to safety protocols, including controlled and emergency shutdowns, lockout/tagout procedures, and proper crane operation.
  • Wearing the assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
