Cleaning Technician
The Environmental Services Technician is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas within the facility, executing cleaning duties during assigned shifts, whether during the day, night, or on weekends.
Safely and proficiently handle cleaning machinery including vacuum cleaners, general floor maintenance equipment, commercial laundry devices, wet and dry mops, brooms, and more. Adhere to proper usage protocols and all safety regulations.
General Facility Cleaning
Thoroughly and efficiently maintain restrooms, dust surfaces, wash windows, scrub walls, clean furniture, replenish dispensers, fold laundry, make beds, and sanitize drinking fountains, among other tasks.
Floor MaintenanceCarry out specialized floor cleaning duties under supervision, including vacuuming, waxing, buffing, auto-scrubbing, carpet spot treatment, and extraction.
Specialized Cleaning DutiesAcquire skills to perform specialized cleaning tasks as needed, such as biohazard clean-up, laundering, window washing, and event touch-ups.

Educational Requirements
High School:
General Studies (Required)
Experience
Minimum of 1 year in general building cleaning
Physical Abilities and Skills
Capability to lift over 40 pounds, ability to stand and walk for extended periods, cleaning proficiency, and willingness to bend or twist the body. Strong team collaboration, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
