Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment Services or designee, the part-time Office Assistant provides direct secretarial and administrative support to the Enrollment Services office. This role involves receiving oral and written instructions from the Director of Enrollment Services or designee.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Respond to telephone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department or contact person, providing accurate information to address inquiries.
  • Assist in troubleshooting admissions-related tasks and provide front counter support to students and faculty.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize assignments
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree
  • One or more years' experience in a higher education institution
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Banner
