Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct team efforts in conducting major evaluations of IRS staffing and placement operations.
- Research, identify, and develop criteria and procedures to conduct program evaluations and measure program accomplishment.
- Provide expert advice and authoritative information to top management and program directors on complex staffing and placement problems and issues.
- Finalize plans, instructions, guides, and other substantive material for use by management officials and operating human resources offices in administering staffing and placement programs.
- Develop project plans, gather data, and prepare position papers on the potential or actual impact of trends and developments.
- Evaluate current programs and initiatives to assess if they meet program goals and objectives.
- Identify program needs and requirements and conduct reviews, special studies, projects, or surveys to resolve complex and difficult problems and issues.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- A 1-year probationary period is required.
- Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- Undergo a review of prior performance/conduct and an income tax verification.
To be minimally qualified for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression. You must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of human resources management (HRM) and ability to apply such knowledge in an authoritative role.
