Job Summary:

LARC Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to provide high-level support to the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO). As an Executive Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to executive-level 2 and 3 Star Generals, management, and key technical personnel across the Executive Director's Front Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence and reports, handling information requests, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, arranging and coordinating travel, scheduling meetings, facilities management, and monitoring physical security.
  • Coordinate/communicate on behalf of the organization's leadership, including calls, responding to email and interfacing with stakeholders or their staff at all levels.
  • Provide comprehensive support services for daily operations in areas of normal administrative service functions to include action suspense tracking, workload prioritization, calendar maintenance, communications, correspondence and distribution services, reporting, procurement of administrative supplies, property administration, security management, as well as travel (requires familiarity with the use of the Defense Travel System) and transportation, directives, and training.
  • Responsible for managing the quality of correspondence provided to the Government Senior Executive Leadership's review.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a government or defense industry setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Travel System and other government travel procedures.
