Job Summary

At Hyatt Regency Long Beach, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the front office staff, managing cash control for agents, and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front office staff to ensure excellent guest service and high-quality operations.
  • Manage cash control for agents, including handling cash transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven track record of success in improving hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
