Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing in-house and subcontracted resources, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering high-quality construction standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage in-house and subcontracted resources performing outside plant (OSP) construction and activation
  • Oversee all on-site and off-site construction to monitor compliance and safety regulations
  • Accurately forecast resource requirements based on completion deadlines
  • Ensure quality construction standards while using proper construction techniques
  • Communicate effectively with customers to inform of project progress, issues, and projected completion dates
  • Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Develop a strong working relationship with managers to maximize new opportunities for revenue
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings
  • Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of assigned department or project
Requirements
  • 3+ years OSP construction experience with emphasis on aerial and/or underground, with a minimum 6 months of supervisory experience
  • Understanding of all facets of the aerial and underground construction process
  • Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks
  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license of at least 2 years
Physical Requirements

The work is performed both inside and outside in all weather conditions. The candidate must possess the ability to lift and manipulate materials and equipment up to 100 pounds. Be able to work standing, at shoulder height, and overhead for extended periods.
