Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our team, the Senior Manager of Event Logistics will oversee the comprehensive management and execution of our extensive range of events tailored for the energy and commodities sectors. This role is ideal for a proactive and innovative individual who excels in a dynamic environment and is adept at managing multiple international events simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recommend suitable venues, negotiate advantageous agreements, and ensure all contracts are finalized in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor event operations executives.
  • Take charge of logistics decisions, including supplier selection and leading the on-site team to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Collaborate with Product & Regional Marketing teams to effectively promote events.
  • Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence while delivering a high-quality experience for attendees.
  • Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and partners post-signup, maintaining close communication with the Conference Producer and Sponsorship Manager.
  • Provide monthly reports on event expenditures, assessing performance against established metrics and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Organize and produce all on-site signage and stage setups to meet both internal requirements and sponsorship obligations.
  • Foster internal relationships to ensure alignment and coordination across commercial interests and event execution.
  • Prioritize client satisfaction and excellence in event delivery throughout all stages of the process.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination for marketing events, corporate gatherings, or conferences.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Process-oriented with adept problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead projects while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in analyzing event data and suggesting enhancements.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role is advantageous.
