Summary:
New Mexico State University's Department of Management is actively seeking qualified candidates for a tenure-track faculty role specializing in Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the Lecturer level. The institution is recognized for its business and accounting accreditation by AACSB International. This role is designed for new PhDs aspiring for their first Tenure Track appointment, early career Lecturers, and current faculty members at the Lecturer rank. Preference will be given to those with research and teaching interests in Entrepreneurship and Strategy.

The initial teaching load is set at a 2/2 format for the first three academic years; thereafter, the teaching load will typically increase to align with the department's standard of 5 courses annually.


Required Education, Experience, Certification/License, Equivalency


Applicants must possess an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution in Management, or a doctorate in a closely related field to Entrepreneurship or Strategy by the date of hire.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and staff. Experience in classroom instruction with proven teaching effectiveness is essential.

Candidates must also present a solid record of scholarly research publication or the potential for publication (i.e., for new PhDs), commensurate with their career level and requisite experience in academia.

A commitment to pursuing external research funding and collaborating on multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
