About the Co-Op Program:

Our Co-Op program offers students the chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience while working alongside seasoned professionals. Participants will be entrusted with meaningful projects that contribute directly to our operations.

The Engineering Co-Op Intern will focus on various projects related to underground operations, milling processes, and surface infrastructure. Reporting to the project engineering team, the intern will be tasked with developing innovative solutions to enhance safety, environmental performance, and overall productivity.

This role involves managing all facets of assigned projects, including budget oversight, scope definition, design validation, and collaboration with skilled craftsmen for implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • Utilize CAD software for design and modeling tasks.
  • Engage in project management activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Promote a culture of safety through thoughtful design and operational practices.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as NX, AutoCAD, or Solidworks.
  • Experience in project teamwork and leadership is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
