About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Senior Living Recruiting Specialist. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as outlined in their individual care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and dignity.
  • Assist with simple treatments, such as administering medications and providing wound care, as directed by licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Observe and report any changes in resident behavior or condition to the Wellness Director or other designated staff members.
  • Participate in onboarding, annual, and in-service training, as well as team member meetings, to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Meet state or provincial health-related requirements.
  • Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
Work Environment

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, push, pull, climb stairs, grasp, and perform other physical demands, as outlined in the Physical Requirements section.
