Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personal care and hygiene assistance as per the care plan, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.
- Facilitating mobility assistance, both active and passive, while documenting any changes in the client's condition to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized Home Health Aide training program.
- At least one year of documented experience in healthcare (or participation in an approved mentorship program).
- Current CPR certification and a negative TB test or chest x-ray.
- Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Work Schedule:
Flexible scheduling options available, including full-time and part-time shifts, with a requirement for every other weekend.
Compensation and Benefits:
BrightStar Care offers a competitive pay structure starting at $15.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
