Key Responsibilities:
As a Home Health Aide, your role will include:
- Delivering personal care and hygiene assistance as outlined, which encompasses bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting support.
- Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and providing transportation for appointments and errands.
- Supporting clients with mobility exercises as per their care plan and reporting any changes to the nursing team.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a recognized Home Health Aide training program.
- A minimum of one year of documented experience in health care (unless enrolled in an approved mentorship program).
- Current CPR certification and a negative TB test or chest x-ray.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- The physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Work Schedule:
This position requires availability for:
- Every other weekend.
- Flexible shifts including days, nights, and overnights ranging from 2 to 12 hours.
