Overview:

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing front office operations to ensure exemplary service for our guests. Your role will involve leading the front desk team, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front desk operations to provide outstanding service to guests
  • Train and mentor front desk team members
  • Promptly address and resolve customer issues
  • Efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures
  • Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Promote hotel services and enhance revenue through suggestive selling
  • Stay updated on hotel events and local attractions to assist guests

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Familiarity with hotel front office operations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Leadership and management capabilities
  • Proficient in computer systems and cash handling

Physical Demands:

  • Effective in-person and telephone communication
  • Ability to manage reports and utilize computer systems
  • Continuous standing and interaction with guests
  • No climbing or driving responsibilities
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry guest luggage as necessary

Environment:

This position is set in a climate-controlled indoor environment with occasional outdoor tasks. The role primarily involves standing and engaging with guests, without any driving requirements.
