Job Title: Sales Specialist, Uro-Oncology

At Ferring Pharmaceuticals Inc., we are committed to delivering life-changing therapies that help people build families and live better lives. As a Sales Specialist, Uro-Oncology, you will play a critical role in promoting our innovative intravesical gene therapy for bladder cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the success of our region and company by promoting and selling Ferring products to attain or exceed established sales quotas.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals, and clinics to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the business and identify new business opportunities.
  • Effectively deploy and pull through territory resources, including marketing materials, programs, and other approved sales tools.
  • Monitor and manage district expenses, budgets, and sample allotments to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in buy and bill medical and/or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Strongly desired: at least 2+ years of experience in Oncology and/or Urology, with Bladder Cancer experience preferred.
  • Business-to-Business sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to problem-solve, demonstrate strong business acumen, and advance a business case with a sense of urgency.
  • Able to achieve or exceed sales objectives, identify potential customers, and add to the customer base.
  • Able to meet expense management requirements and demand generation goals.
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for approximately 3-4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating an automobile up to 60% of the time, depending on the geography of the territory.
  • Walking up to 15% of the time, depending on the geography of the territory.
  • Climbing stairs and/or ramps may be required in certain urban territories where the use of public transportation may be necessary during the workday.
  • Standing for more than 1-2 hours at a time.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling items such as a laptop, iPad, printed material, and product samples weighing up to 20 pounds, into and out of a car, train, or airplane, and into physician offices and/or medical facilities.

  • Competitive total compensation package, including a base salary range of $120,000 to $170,000, and annual incentive compensation targets in the form of sales commissions.
