Role Responsibilities

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in urgent and critical situations. Your duties will include:

  • Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care requirements.
  • Prioritizing care based on patient acuity and available resources.
  • Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Administering medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Documenting and communicating patient conditions using electronic systems.
  • Providing culturally sensitive care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Current Florida RN Licensure or recognized compact licensure.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Preferred certifications such as TNCC and CEN.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in medical/surgical or emergency nursing.
  • Strong customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Critical thinking abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
