Responsibilities

We're seeking a highly skilled and empathetic individual to serve as our first point of contact within the clinic. The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, willing to go above and beyond to support patients' success in therapy, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner, verifying appointments, and assisting with necessary paperwork
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients, physicians, staff members, and other stakeholders, including follow-ups as needed
  • Coordinating complex schedules to ensure patients receive the appropriate number of visits, collaborating with Physical Therapists and other staff members as necessary
  • Assisting patients with insurance-related questions, verifying and explaining benefits, and obtaining and tracking authorizations
  • Accurately updating and maintaining electronic medical and billing records, following up on additional information when required
  • Collecting copayments, processing them in a timely and professional manner, and issuing receipts as necessary
  • Inputting data from in-house research, which is crucial for determining clinic performance
  • Supporting clinic performance by preparing management information, imputing data, and maintaining basic clinic supplies and equipment
  • Respecting patient privacy and adhering to confidentiality policies

Additional tasks may include multitasking in a fast-paced environment, staying on top of daily reports and tasks, and performing additional duties assigned by the clinic director.



Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in patient-centered healthcare or customer-facing roles is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
