Job Summary

Cavalier Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' medical needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document all identified medical needs in the medical record.
  • Nursing Care Delivery: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and direct Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in the delivery of direct resident care, providing guidance, education, and performance accountability.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (R.N.) licensure in the State of Arkansas.
  • Physical and Cognitive Abilities: Ability to lift, carry, and move residents, as well as perform tasks that require fine hand motor coordination, reading, and writing.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
