Primary Responsibilities:
The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all assigned rooms are cleaned and supplied according to established standards. This role includes reporting any damages, mechanical issues, or suspicious activities to uphold safety and security protocols, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Duties:
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms and replenish supplies while adhering to safety and security guidelines.
- Perform tasks such as:
- Removing trash
- Changing linens and making beds
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Dusting and sweeping guest rooms
- Washing windows and balconies
- Organizing and restocking the housekeeping cart
- Receiving room assignments and supplies from the Senior Housekeeper
- Addressing guest requests and reporting any issues to ensure a pleasant stay
- Documenting lost items and reporting maintenance concerns
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Supervisor to prioritize tasks and assist as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: No formal education is required.
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English, maintain cleanliness standards, and engage positively with guests.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves constant movement, including:
- Pushing loaded supply carts
- Bending and kneeling to clean various areas
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Climbing stairs as needed
Work Environment:
This position is primarily indoors, with 100% of the work performed in guest rooms and common areas.
