Job Title: Growth Market Account Executive

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Sales & Marketing team. As a Growth Market Account Executive, you'll be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new sales agreements for companies with up to 50 employees. You'll work independently in a fast-paced business environment, leveraging your exceptional prospecting skills and consultative approach to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Determine prospective customers' needs for HR technology and present Paylocity's solutions to meet those needs.
  2. Prepare and present proposals, providing timely follow-up throughout the sales process.
  3. Complete and obtain documentation required for the conversion of data from the company's previous payroll provider to the Paylocity system.
  4. Work cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition to Paylocity for clients.
  5. Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, professional and personal contacts, and other sources.
  6. Build relationships with CPAs and maintain existing CPA relationships.
  7. Attend Paylocity-sponsored trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services.
  8. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quota for your territory.
Requirements and Indicators for Success:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales position.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory and meet prospects in person.
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to maintain high activity standards.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills required to handle objections and unexpected situations.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.
