Clinical RN Supervisor Job Description

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a skilled Clinical RN Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical RN Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our Internal Medicine department, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to improve patient care and streamline clinical processes.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and Clinic Manager to troubleshoot issues and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including those related to controlled substances and legend drugs.
  • Participate in the development and revision of policies and procedures to ensure they align with community standards of care.
Requirements:
  • Active unencumbered Washington RN license and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure.
  • Active unencumbered Oregon RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as an RN.
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with EMR and other computer skills required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
