About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced House Supervisor RN to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of nursing units, including staffing, patient flow, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis and process improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in med-surg or related nursing area upon hire.
