Purpose Statement:

The primary role involves supporting the sales team to ensure the effective execution of the sales strategy and to assist in the promotion of company-branded and other products, aiming to meet or exceed profit objectives through regular engagement with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a direct representative of the company to customers and the public, maintaining ethical and reliable interactions.
  • Engage with customers regularly to accurately solicit and process orders in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with current clients to ensure our products meet their expectations and address their present and future needs.
  • Provide customers with essential information regarding product features and promotional offers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and availability.
  • Support the sales department by developing and maintaining tools for efficient pricing and order communication.
  • Manage order entry and coordinate product shipping and freight logistics.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by interacting positively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and communicate special requirements.
  • Be adaptable and willing to assist in various areas of the company as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to build networks and partnerships with customers to promote company products.
  • Strong skills in managing customer relationships, including strategic planning and sales forecasting.
  • Familiarity with company and competitor products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to establish and maintain trust and positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn other software applications.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as required.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate's degree preferred. Relevant experience in a related field is also beneficial.
