Job Summary

The Senior Vice President, Account Policy Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who plays a key role in shaping the company's accounting policies and procedures. This individual will be responsible for analyzing complex financial transactions, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations to enhance the company's financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Analyze complex financial transactions to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance financial reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to business units on accounting matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Practical knowledge of US GAAP and financial instrument accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • CPA or equivalent certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with financial institutions or regulatory bodies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and Basel issues.
  • Verbal and written proficiency in Spanish.
