Job Title: Senior Vice President/Vice President, Fundraise Management

Brookfield Asset Management is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President/Vice President to lead our Fundraise Management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our Infrastructure and Transition closed-ended funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a fundraising strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures the successful closure of our funds.
  • Lead the Fundraise Management team in all stages of the fundraising lifecycle, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, advisors, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the fundraising process.
  • Develop and implement a stakeholder management strategy to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the fundraising process.
  • Collaborate with the Investment Teams to develop and implement investment strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Develop and manage the creation of investment strategy and fund-specific marketing materials, including offering memoranda, investor presentations, case studies, and other documents related to private funds.
  • Coordinate road shows, special events, conferences, diligence sessions, and investor meetings to support the fundraising process.
  • Act as a senior representative in GCG leadership meetings, as required.
  • Build, support, and manage the Fundraise Management team through all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, and compensation.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in finance, business management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, including closed-ended funds.
  • Experience in infrastructure and/or renewables/transition asset classes is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the LP landscape and preferences, styles, and requirements across key regions and investor types.
  • Strong strategy/product knowledge and ability to communicate details of fund approach.
  • Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience.
  • Strong global team management experience.
  • Experience in high-volume processes and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Institutional fund marketing sales and support experience is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to read, speak, and write fluent English.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account with local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education, and designations.
