Position Overview

CTI is in search of a skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Specialist to enhance our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering training and assistance to end users while serving as a subject matter expert in the TAK system suite, Joint Fires, and Joint operations. Your insights will be essential in shaping software development to align with the specific needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Technical Solutions Specialist, your primary duty will be to provide tailored training and effective support to end-users, ensuring optimal utilization of our offerings. Specific tasks include:
  • Design and implement customized training sessions for users, fostering a thorough understanding and proficient use of our solutions.
  • Gather and document critical feedback regarding product challenges and relay these findings to the development team for resolution.
  • Execute operational testing of both hardware and software prior to customer rollout, engage in alpha and beta quality assurance testing, and assess user manuals for precision and usability.
  • Deliver continuous support and maintenance to all clients, guaranteeing uninterrupted operation and satisfaction.
  • Ensure program interoperability to bolster business development initiatives and facilitate the seamless integration of new solutions.

Additionally, you will take on the role of Project Lead for our SOCOM portfolio, with responsibilities that encompass:

  • Managing the complete project lifecycle, including scope management, budget oversight, and adherence to timelines.
  • Guaranteeing that all deliverables are finalized punctually, within budget constraints, and meet the highest quality benchmarks.
  • Providing regular updates to both clients and internal stakeholders, including the Technical Manager and Program Manager, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all parties.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a technical support or customer service capacity, ideally in software product support.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and a knack for analyzing and resolving intricate technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with software and hardware systems, including operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking, and databases.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Special Operations Forces (SOF) operator.
  • At least 5 years of experience collaborating with SOCOM Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and the TAK Product Center.
  • Certification as a SCRUM Product Owner.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Alternatively, a graduate of the Air Force Weapons School.
  • Experience in a remote support environment is advantageous.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance post-employment. U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization.
  • Understanding of the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
