JOB SUMMARY:
Infrastructure Automation Specialists are tasked with the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions. They engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, which encompasses gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, addressing system outages, and creating application system models. These specialists are responsible for documenting comprehensive system specifications and will participate in performance testing, as well as both planned and unplanned maintenance for applications developed in-house and third-party products. They take part in design discussions and collaborate with clients to refine, test, and troubleshoot programs to fulfill business requirements, while also coordinating with external partners to achieve business and technology goals. Specialists are accountable for integrating IT Controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and the data processed or generated by these applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, documentation protocols, and change management processes
- Proficiency in version control tools: GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Monotone, etc.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable team player
- Ability to manage tasks autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
- Willingness to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to enhance performance
- Must exhibit initiative and effective independent decision-making abilities
- Ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively

- Thorough understanding of the systems development life cycle
- Proficiency in multiple object-oriented programming languages such as JAVA, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, and PHP
- Experience with HTML and frameworks like React.Js, Node.JS, and EXPRESS
- Experience with SOAP and REST web service development
- May include learning languages such as Hadoop, Storm, Spark, Kafka, Hive, NFI, Scoop, etc.
- May include database knowledge in SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.
- Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools like Visio
- Proficiency in debugging tools; Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, CA/EZTEST, etc.
- High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions aligned with business objectives and strategy
- Ability to manipulate data from various sources/formats including flat files, relational databases, non-relational databases, XML, JSON, etc.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in various domains such as Health Care, Financial, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies

- 3-5 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of transferable experience and education as a Java Developer
