Role Overview

The Senior Account Executive will spearhead the sales initiatives for ThousandEyes Enterprise Accounts targeting potential clients and channel partners in France. This role is pivotal in driving new business growth within the designated territory by cultivating strategic relationships with major commercial accounts. The executive will formulate and implement comprehensive account strategies and ensure success in the following areas: territory planning, pipeline development, presentations, trial management, pricing strategies, negotiations, and closing deals. This position is an individual contributor role with sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and cultivate sales opportunities that align with the ideal customer profile for ThousandEyes to maximize solution value and product adoption.
  • Establish initial contact and maintain professional follow-up for all sales engagements within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve all sales objectives and booking targets in line with company growth aspirations, while identifying revenue expansion opportunities across existing accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with Cisco Account Managers and other sales specialists to drive revenue growth for ThousandEyes.
  • Work in tandem with Customer Success teams to enhance product adoption and usage, as well as with Product Management to gather insights on future requirements to boost market demand for ThousandEyes.
  • Maintain a highly organized, results-driven approach; proficient in delivering sales presentations, conducting onsite visits, and demonstrating products to prospective clients.
  • Develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with ThousandEyes customers and partners in a consistent, effective, and professional manner.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly booking targets while providing reliable sales forecasts.
  • Formulate and execute a detailed account strategy.
  • Accelerate customer acquisition and upsell opportunities within existing accounts while ensuring an accurate sales pipeline.
  • Engage with customers and channel partners to promote the adoption of ThousandEyes solutions.
  • Lead discussions on pricing and manage contract negotiations.
  • Establish long-term strategic relationships with clients.
  • Ensure meticulous and ongoing maintenance of accounts, forecasts, proposals, and account activities.
  • Consistently prioritize customer success.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales territory management with a technology vendor, specifically selling enterprise software to network decision-makers. SaaS sales experience is essential.
  • A proven history of consistently surpassing sales quotas.
  • Self-driven, capable of problem-solving, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a high-growth environment, embodying a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.
