We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to spearhead strategic initiatives and collaborate closely with our Sales division.

This position is part of the Sales Systems & Process team within Revenue Operations, engaging with various teams and individuals who support our Sales organization.

The Principal Business Systems Analyst will serve as a senior-level contributor, demonstrating a proven track record in managing complex, impactful projects throughout the Sales cycle.

Ideal candidates will possess expertise in business processes, systems management, and analytical capabilities that are crucial for aiding the Sales team in its global expansion.

Applicants should have a profound understanding of the requirements for a successful Sales team and the ability to collaborate with other Business Systems Analysts and Technology teams to implement changes and enhance scalability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Leadership, Sales Technology, Sales Strategy, Marketing Operations, Data Science, and others.
  • Work alongside internal technology teams to support and deliver essential capabilities for optimizing sales processes.
  • Identify areas for system and process enhancements, focusing on both immediate improvements and long-term foundational changes.
  • Partner with Sales Strategy and Business Operations teams to lead critical projects impacting customer-facing go-to-market teams.
  • Address complex business challenges with both technical and non-technical solutions.
  • Manage requirements documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, and other necessary assets for gathering business needs.
  • Perform systems administration tasks on sales tools and systems.
  • Engage in user acceptance testing, smoke testing, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with the Enablement team to develop training materials on system and process updates.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations.
  • Experience in a high-growth, enterprise software environment.
  • Familiarity with Direct and Channel sales ecosystems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to cash collection, and knowledge of how post-sales teams facilitate customer enablement, expansion, and renewals.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions system and process integration projects.
  • Proficiency with common go-to-market tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, Gainsight, DocuSign, PandaDocs, among others.
  • Experience in procuring new tools for business operations.
  • Understanding of various software subscription models and cloud software sales frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce; Salesforce Admin certification is preferred.
  • Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Analytical skills to assess key decisions and their long-term and short-term impacts.
  • A history of delivering transformative projects that enhance operational efficiency.

Compensation:

At Atlassian, we are committed to creating equitable, transparent, and competitive compensation structures. Our baseline compensation is designed to exceed typical market ranges, reflecting our expectation to hire candidates near this baseline.

Base pay is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. Our compensation ranges vary by geographic zones.
