We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to spearhead strategic initiatives and collaborate closely with our Sales division.

This position is part of the Sales Systems & Process team within Revenue Operations, engaging with various teams and individuals that support our Sales organization.

The Principal Business Systems Analyst is a senior-level contributor with a proven track record of managing complex, impactful projects throughout the Sales cycle.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in business processes, systems management, and analytical capabilities that are crucial for enabling the Sales team to scale effectively on a global level.

Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of the requirements for a successful Sales team and will know how to collaborate with other Business Systems Analysts and Technology teams to drive meaningful change and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Leadership, Sales Technology, Sales Strategy, Marketing Operations, Data Science, and others.
  • Work alongside internal technology teams to deliver the necessary capabilities for optimizing and scaling our sales processes.
  • Identify areas for system and process enhancements, including immediate quick wins and long-term foundational improvements.
  • Partner with Sales Strategy and Business Operations teams to lead critical projects that influence our customer-facing go-to-market teams.
  • Address complex business challenges with both technical and non-technical solutions.
  • Manage requirements documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, DACIs, wireframes, and other assets to capture business needs.
  • Oversee systems administration for sales tools and systems.
  • Engage in user acceptance testing, smoke testing, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with our Enablement team to develop training on system and process updates.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations.
  • Experience in a high-growth, enterprise software environment.
  • Familiarity with Direct and Channel sales ecosystems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to cash flow, and how post-sales teams facilitate customer enablement, expansion, and renewals.
  • Experience with M&A system and process integration projects.
  • Proficiency with common go-to-market tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, Gainsight, DocuSign, PandaDocs, and others.
  • Experience in sourcing new tools for business needs.
  • Understanding of various software subscription models and cloud software sales frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce; Salesforce Admin certification is preferred.
  • Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Analytical skills to discern key decisions and their long- and short-term implications.
  • A history of delivering transformative projects that enhance operational efficiency.

Compensation:

At Atlassian, we are committed to creating equitable, transparent, and competitive compensation structures. Our baseline compensation range is designed to exceed typical market standards, reflecting our expectation to hire candidates near this baseline.

Compensation varies based on geographic zones:

  • Zone A: $172,900 - $230,500
  • Zone B: $155,600 - $207,400
  • Zone C: $143,500 - $191,300

This role may also qualify for additional benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
