Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to spearhead strategic initiatives and collaborate closely with our Sales team.
This position is part of the Sales Systems & Process team within Revenue Operations, engaging with various teams and individuals that support our Sales organization.
The Principal Business Systems Analyst will serve as a senior-level individual contributor, demonstrating a proven track record of managing complex, business-critical projects throughout the Sales cycle.
Ideal candidates will possess strong business process, systems administration, and analytical skills essential for assisting the Sales team in scaling operations globally.
A deep understanding of the needs of a Sales team is crucial, along with the ability to collaborate with other Business Systems Analysts and Technology teams to implement changes and enhance scalability.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Leadership, Sales Technology, Sales Strategy, Marketing Operations, Data Science, and others.
- Work alongside internal technology teams to support and deliver necessary capabilities for optimizing sales processes.
- Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements, focusing on both immediate improvements and long-term foundational changes.
- Partner with Sales Strategy and Business Operations teams to drive significant projects impacting customer-facing go-to-market teams.
- Address complex business challenges with both technical and non-technical solutions.
- Oversee requirements documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, DACIs, wireframes, and other assets for gathering business needs.
- Perform systems administration on sales tools and systems.
- Engage in user acceptance testing, smoke testing, and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with our Enablement team to develop training on system and process changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations.
- Experience in a high-growth, enterprise software environment.
- Familiarity with Direct and Channel sales ecosystems.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to cash collection, including post-sales team enablement, expansion, and renewals.
- Experience with M&A system and process integration projects.
- Proficiency with common go-to-market tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, Gainsight, DocuSign, PandaDoc, and others.
- Experience in sourcing new tools for business needs.
- Understanding of various software subscription models and cloud software sales methodologies.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce; Salesforce Admin certification is preferred.
- Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Analytical skills to identify key decisions and assess both short-term and long-term impacts.
- A history of delivering transformational projects that have introduced new and improved operational methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits
At Atlassian, we are committed to designing equitable, transparent, and competitive compensation structures. Our baseline compensation is typically higher than the standard market range, reflecting our expectation to hire most candidates near this baseline.
Base pay is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones:
- Zone A: $172,900 - $230,500
- Zone B: $155,600 - $207,400
- Zone C: $143,500 - $191,300
This role may also qualify for additional benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
