Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

GhangorCloud is a leading provider of advanced cybersecurity solutions, specializing in Information Security and Compliance for enterprises. We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage the security architecture of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enforce security protocols for our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) that align with industry best practices.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and events to detect and respond to potential security threats or breaches.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-native security tools, such as firewalls, identity management systems, and encryption mechanisms.
  • Act as the first line of defense during security incidents, leading the investigation, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
  • Ensure all cloud environments meet regulatory compliance requirements (such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001), and prepare for internal and external security audits.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on cloud infrastructure, remediating risks promptly.
  • Work closely with DevOps, IT, and security teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • Create detailed documentation on cloud security policies, processes, and incidents for future reference and audit purposes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proven knowledge of security protocols, encryption, firewalls, and IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies.
  • Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center, Google Cloud Security Command Center, etc.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle complex security challenges in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud automation and security as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
