Position: Senior Cloud Security Architect at Zscaler
Location: Remote within the United States
**US Citizenship Required for Federal Deployments**The Senior Cloud Security Architect at Zscaler is the primary authority on public cloud security strategies and technologies. This role requires close collaboration with clients, sales teams, product management, engineering, Zscaler partners, and the executive team. The position necessitates a deep understanding of cloud technologies, hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, and the ability to effectively communicate with both Technical and Business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in rapidly implementing and operationalizing Zscaler workload protection solutions to achieve their business and security goals.
- Support clients in integrating Zscaler cloud solutions into their security operations and existing security frameworks.
- Address client support issues and advocate for operational best practices.
- Guide clients in establishing security architecture for their cloud workloads and managing their Cloud Security Posture, Change Management, Governance, and Center of Excellence program.
- Conduct workshops on Cloud Security Architecture with Clients and Partners.
- Identify risks that may impede clients from reaching their business objectives and collaborate with the account team to devise risk mitigation strategies.
- Articulate Cloud Security strategy to technical leaders.
- Create high-quality resources for understanding and utilizing security across various Cloud Service Providers.
- Serve as the primary customer expert on Zscaler cloud security solutions and evolve into a Subject Matter Expert over time.
- Be available to provide after-hours support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience encompassing technical, network, and security architecture.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud migration or cloud security architecture with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Security Services in Azure, AWS, or GCP such as Azure Security Center, IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, AWS Inspector, GCP Security Command Center.
- Exposure to diverse technologies and processing environments.
- Familiarity with the DevOps ecosystem, CI/CD tools, and orchestration tools.
- AWS Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialist.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect.
- GCP Cloud Architect Certification, Splunk Certified Enterprise Architect.
- Optional: CEH, CISSP, CCSP.
Compensation: Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and determined by role and level. The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for new hires across all US locations and may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, education, or training.
The salary range for this full-time position excludes commission, bonus, equity (if applicable), and benefits.
Base Pay Range: $122,500—$175,000 USD.
