Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop a private cloud infrastructure that is tailored to meet the business demands of eBay.
  • Design and implement cloud solutions with a focus on security, reliability, self-service, automation, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Security teams to establish and maintain a secure private cloud environment.
  • Work closely with network and systems engineers to build the next generation of eBay's private cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the cloud architecture.
  • Serve as a domain expert and advisor to IT leadership on private cloud strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in the conception, construction, and upkeep of private cloud ecosystems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Proficiency in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and configuration management toolsets.
  • Demonstrated ability in Object-Oriented Design and Distributed Programming.
  • Comprehensive grasp of networking and data center infrastructure specifically tailored for private cloud settings.
  • Outstanding capabilities in troubleshooting, effective communication, and steering project initiatives to successful completion.
