Overview:
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for spearheading the development of a managed cloud services platform, architecting a multi-tenant hybrid multi-cloud environment that aligns with both current and future business objectives. You will collaborate closely with product management to gain insights into customer cloud requirements and formulate a strategic vision for the evolution of the cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Leadership: Take charge of the cloud services platform, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of our clients while demonstrating technological foresight through comprehensive research and evaluation of various solutions.
- Cloud Best Practices: Establish and oversee the adoption of industry-leading cloud practices to optimize performance and enhance security measures.
- Security Compliance: Guarantee adherence to critical security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, SOC2, and ISO 27001, working in conjunction with the security team to safeguard cloud privacy.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in technical architecture, application development, cloud technologies, and middleware.
- Demonstrated experience in creating hybrid cloud solutions utilizing OpenStack or comparable private cloud technologies, alongside public cloud providers.
- Strong technical proficiency in cloud service architecture, security protocols, networking, containerization, and full-stack service development.
- Proven track record in building and managing high-quality API-driven cloud solutions, with hands-on involvement in complex development tasks.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet, along with scripting and automation skills in Python or similar languages.
- In-depth knowledge of container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Relevant cloud certifications are required.
