Job Summary:We are looking for a talented Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage the security architecture of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms and cybersecurity practices to ensure the highest level of protection for GhangorCloud's digital assets and client data.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement cloud security solutions that align with industry best practices.
- Monitor cloud environments to detect and respond to potential security threats or breaches.
- Manage cloud security tools, including firewalls, identity management systems, and encryption mechanisms.
- Act as the first line of defense during security incidents, leading the investigation, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
- Ensure all cloud environments meet regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001, and prepare for internal and external security audits.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on cloud infrastructure, remediating risks promptly.
- Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and security teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Create detailed documentation on cloud security policies, processes, and incidents for future reference and audit purposes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proven knowledge of security protocols, encryption, firewalls, and IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies.
- Experience with cloud security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center, Google Cloud Security Command Center, etc.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle complex security challenges in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Hands-on experience with cloud automation and security as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
