The Internal Audit Group (IAG) operates globally with a team of around 300 professionals across seven countries. IAG comprises assurance and risk specialists with varied expertise, including internal controls, consumer compliance, technology, operational risk, financial accounting, data analytics, and banking operations. The organization is structured into 14 audit teams aligned with business units and staff groups, complemented by a Professional Practice group that oversees audit methodology, quality assurance, regulatory relations, and reporting.

The Vice President, Technology Audit Leader will oversee a team of technology process auditors tasked with assessing third-party governance controls and application/project management controls within IAG's audits of business processes and projects supporting the enterprise. This role involves developing and executing an integrated annual technology audit plan for Third Party and Projects, aligning audit findings with leadership, and managing interactions with various regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Cultivating expertise in third-party governance, application controls, system development lifecycle controls, and project management controls within the audit team.
  • Mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues and co-sourced resources across diverse locations in all aspects of their roles, audit lifecycle, methodology, and best practices.
  • Managing the team's resource calendar, recruiting pipeline, and overseeing the screening and selection process.
  • Possessing 12+ years of relevant technology audit experience, preferably with Big 4 audit firms.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and experience in third-party governance, application controls, system development lifecycle controls, project management controls, and auditing practices.
  • Having preferred experience in the financial services industry with an understanding of related products, services, features, economics, and key regulations.
  • Holding certifications such as Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) and Project Management Professional (PMP), with Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) expected within the first year.
  • Possessing a preferred BA or BS in information systems, data analytics, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Identifying and addressing business process control gaps related to manual processes and application controls, as well as project management control gaps.
  • Understanding regulatory, accounting, and financial industry guidance and best practices relevant to the business, including technology and data implications.
  • Analyzing complex problems, utilizing data analysis, process knowledge, and risk/control knowledge, and communicating findings and recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Effectively managing tasks, collaborating, and leading in a fast-paced environment to drive business results, employing project management skills and creative thinking.
  • Demonstrating a proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects while ensuring quality across deliverables.
  • Inspiring and developing team members to achieve results.
  • Willingness to travel 5% to 15% as needed.

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits.
