The Internal Audit Group (IAG) operates on a global scale, comprising around 300 professionals across seven countries. Our team includes experts in various fields such as internal controls, compliance, technology, operational risk, financial accounting, data analytics, and banking operations. IAG is structured into 14 audit teams that align with business units and support groups, alongside a Professional Practice group that oversees audit methodologies, quality assurance, regulatory relations, and reporting.

The Senior Vice President of Technology Audit will oversee a team of technology process auditors, assessing third-party governance controls and application/project management controls within IAG's audits of business processes and projects. This leader will be responsible for formulating and executing the integrated annual technology audit plan for Third Party and Projects, ensuring alignment of audit findings with executive leadership, and managing interactions with various regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing expertise in third-party governance, application controls, system development lifecycle controls, and project management controls within the audit team.
  • Mentoring and guiding less experienced colleagues and co-sourced resources across diverse locations in all aspects of their roles, the audit lifecycle, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Managing the team's resource calendar, recruiting pipeline, and overseeing the screening and selection process.
  • Possessing over 12 years of relevant technology audit experience, preferably with Big 4 audit firms.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and experience in third-party governance, application controls, system development lifecycle controls, project management controls, and auditing practices.
  • Having preferred experience in the financial services industry, with an understanding of related products, services, features, economics, and key regulations.
  • Holding certifications such as Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) and Project Management Professional (PMP), with Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) expected within the first year of employment.
  • Possessing a preferred degree in information systems, data analytics, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Identifying and addressing gaps in business process controls and project management controls.
  • Understanding regulatory, accounting, and financial industry guidance relevant to the business, including technology and data implications.
  • Analyzing complex problems, utilizing data analysis, process knowledge, and risk/control knowledge, and effectively communicating findings and recommendations.
  • Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills to provide high-quality, actionable feedback to management.
  • Effectively managing tasks, collaborating, and leading in a fast-paced environment to achieve business results.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects while ensuring quality across deliverables.
  • Inspiring and developing team members to achieve results.
  • Willingness to travel 5% to 15% as needed.

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually, plus bonus and equity (if applicable), along with comprehensive benefits.
