We are currently seeking a skilled Healthcare Administrative Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to:

  • Support the Supervisor with various tasks, including managing correspondence and preparing documentation for signatures.
  • Organize and prepare monthly schedules, notifications for testing, and essential reminders.
  • Oversee the Motility program, manage lab operations, and coordinate calendars for attending physicians.
  • Execute special projects as assigned by the Supervisor and compile relevant data.
  • Maintain an organized calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange travel plans; coordinate meetings and ensure all necessary resources are available.
  • Document and transcribe minutes from departmental meetings.
  • Compile and update patient charts efficiently.
  • Schedule surgical procedures and confirm arrangements with physicians and patients.
  • Process forms and liaise with insurance providers for pre-certification as needed.
  • Generate patient billing using a computerized system and maintain financial records, producing reports for analysis.
  • Order supplies and equipment for the Motility Lab and assist with maintenance of office and lab equipment.
  • Coordinate follow-up care with physicians post-surgery and discharge.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in healthcare administration
  • Familiarity with Medical Terminology
  • Proficiency in shorthand or transcription from Dictaphone
  • Strong command of MS Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written
