The Data Platform and Machine Learning divisions are integral to the Egencia global product team. These teams are tasked with advancing our data capabilities to harness the potential of a data-centric organization.

As a Senior Data Product Manager, your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to pinpoint data requirements by analyzing the data flow throughout the product lifecycle and gathering specifications for each new capability or feature.

You will engage with diverse global teams, bridging data producers and consumers, to define and implement milestones within the data management roadmap.

Clients will utilize the products you develop to gain comprehensive insights into their travel programs. Daily, data scientists will rely on the platform you create to train and deploy machine learning models.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product roadmaps informed by data and strategic judgment that align with the company’s overarching goals.
  • Collaborate across functional teams, emphasizing Product, Technology, and Operations.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from inception to deployment, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Act as a change agent capable of influencing the broader organization and the community of Egencia leaders.
  • Track product performance and customer feedback to guide enhancements and updates.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Possess a quantitative or technical background, whether through education or professional experience.
  • Maintain a data-driven and customer-focused mindset that informs decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Employ a collaborative and agile approach to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management.
  • Familiarity with the business travel sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience with airline or travel agency connectivity products and services is highly desirable.
  • Experience with New Distribution Connectivity (NDC) implementation with airlines, aggregators, or travel agencies is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL.
