Title: Senior Video Production Director
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Extension)
Location: Hybrid Work Environment
Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing significant brand initiatives in collaboration with advertising or internal creative teams. Expertise in overseeing video projects from initial concept through to post-production is essential, along with the capability to effectively communicate creative ideas to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently generate innovative concepts from discussions or briefs.
- Collaborate with creative team members and production managers to ensure the creative vision is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Direct the creative ideation process, ensuring a cohesive vision across various platforms.
- Present creative work with clarity and confidence, justifying all creative choices.
- Maintain a flexible approach to feedback and be willing to adapt ideas as necessary.
- Develop comprehensive creative documents, including one-pagers, presentations, storyboards, and scripts, while working closely with Art Directors and other creative professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field in Film/TV production.
- Over 5 years of creative experience in an agency, studio, production company, or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams to produce exceptional work across multiple channels.
- A portfolio showcasing examples of leading creative campaigns from conception to execution.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to convey ideas effectively to design and production teams.
- Capability to generate innovative creative solutions while adhering to established brand guidelines.
- In-depth understanding of the editorial process, particularly in video post-production and narrative development.
- Ability to prioritize brand strategy and anticipate the needs of stakeholders.
Typical Daily Activities:
- Receive business briefs and develop creative concepts for video projects, followed by the creation of presentation materials.
- Collaborate with production teams and art directors to execute video projects.
- Present completed work to leadership for review and feedback.
Preferred Experience:
Experience as a Video Director or Creative Director with a focus on both long-form and short-form video production.
Essential Soft Skills:
Strong listening skills, collaborative spirit, openness to feedback, resilience in facing challenges, adaptability to change, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
